NORMA Group, a leading manufacturer and distributor of innovative engineered joining technologies, expands global production capacities and opens a plant in Thailand in October 2010.
With the new facility in Thailand, NORMA Group further expands its market position in Asia. Production of emission control applications commences in January 2011. The capacity should reach 600,000 products in the first year. Over the next three years, the group plans to increase the capacity to more than two million.
NORMA Group targets industrial customers in Thailand as well as importers of high-tech products in Malaysia and Australia with the new facility. It complements existing Asian operations in India, China, Singapore, Japan, Australia and other countries presently covered via distribution partners. NORMA Group is committed to substantially grow its market share and presence in the region.
