The installations behind the energy transition and digitalization keep growing, and a failure costs more than ever. Their reliability rests on connections that have to hold for decades, often in places no one looks. NORMA has engineered these connections for generations. Customers specify them once and keep them for the lifetime of a platform.
The NewNORMA transformation has begun. With the sale of our Water Management business in February 2026, NORMA now concentrates entirely on Connecting Solutions. On 19 October 2026 we present the next stage at our Strategy Update.

Industry Applications now account for a third of Group revenue.
I wrote this sentence in my first LinkedIn post as CEO, almost a year ago. Today it shapes our strategy. What our societies are building now, from AI data centers to storage that stabilizes the grid, will only ever be as dependable as the smallest part holding it together.
Our parts do that work unnoticed. Many people still know us mainly through our automotive business, which I understand: that is where our engineering proved itself, and mobility remains an important part of NORMA. Our growth today comes from a much wider range of industries.
NewNORMA is how we put this into practice. We want to become the Industrial Powerhouse for Connecting Solutions. My thanks go to our more than 6,000 colleagues, who carry this change every day. To our shareholders, we commit to reporting our progress transparently and to measuring ourselves against the targets we set.
Small in origin. Large in effect.

The technologies shaping the coming decades rely on connections that work without fail. These are the markets where we see our greatest potential. Mobility & New Energy remains our largest business, and its long-term platform contracts give us the stability to grow in these markets.
Digital infrastructure
AI and cloud computing keep driving demand for data center capacity. Uptime depends on power, cooling and cabling that run without interruption.
Electrical connection and cable management solutions for the data center itself, plus clamps for the backup power and storage systems around it.
Energy storage
Grids need storage to balance wind and solar. Storage systems need cooling and fluid lines that stay tight for decades.
Connection technology for cooling, fluid management and battery infrastructure. Market penetration is still low, which makes BESS one of our most attractive future markets.
Home technologies
The move to low-carbon heating brings heat pumps into millions of buildings. Each unit runs on fluid circuits that have to work for years without service.
Fluid and connection systems for next-generation heat pumps, designed for efficiency, durability and simple installation.
Industry
Machinery, agriculture, construction and aerospace: systems where reliability is non-negotiable and downtime is expensive.
Clamps, connectors and fluid systems for industrial OEMs, distributors and project engineers, from standard products to engineered solutions.
Short conversations with the people who build NewNORMA. In the first season, Suzana Wegeleben, Segment Leader New Energy, and CEO Birgit Seeger look at battery energy storage: why the market is growing, what it asks of a connection, and why cooling decides how long a storage system lasts.
About three minutes per episode, told by people who work on it every day. Further episodes and seasons will follow.
