NORMA Group, an international market and technology leader for engineered joining technology, is presenting its CONNECTORS brand with a new website on www.connectors.ch. CONNECTORS Verbindungstechnik with headquarters in Switzerland specializes on applications for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The company is a fully owned subsidiary of NORMA Group.
“The CONNECTORS brand enjoys an excellent reputation in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors,” says Bernd Kleinhens, board member Business Development at NORMA Group. “The challenge was to clearly distinguish the brand from our other quality brands and still position it unequivocally as part of NORMA Group. I believe that we have succeeded to do so with our new web presence.”
The centerpiece of the new website is a 3-D animation of a production line that gives interactive insight into the product portfolio based on different application examples. White, grey and light blue coloring to match the CONNECTORS products for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry dominate the website design. The ergonomics of the website follow those of NORMA Group's corporate website: large pictures on the landing page draw attention to the CONNECTORS products. User-friendly navigation gives ready access to information on the company and its distribution offices as well as documents for downloading and assembly instructions. The website also features press releases on CONNECTORS and NORMA Group as well as links to the social media presences on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. The website has been optimized for all mobile devices and adjusts dynamically to the size of the screen.
“Connectors is the first NORMA Group brand with a newly designed website,” adds Kleinhens. “Other brand-specific websites will follow in order to strengthen the individual brands' profile.”
NORMA Group SE acquired CONNECTORS Verbindungstechnik AG in April 2012. Headquartered in Tagelswangen, Switzerland, Connectors has been selling joining elements to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for over 25 years. Its product range includes clamps, valves, tubes, connecting solutions and magnetic-drive mixers for aseptic technology applications. This offering is complemented by consulting and planning services for pharmaceutical process lines.
