Welcome to the new NORMA Group website! We are in the process of launching our new website and appreciate your patience as we continue to make improvements.
NORMA Group is highly interested in livable and prosperous neighborhoods. Via our Corporate Citizenship Programs, we aim to strengthen, and contribute positively to the communities in which we operate and support selected projects for sustainable development.
“NORMA Help Day” takes place once a year at many NORMA Group sites. On this day, we support social and ecological projects in the vicinity of our sites worldwide: from kindergartens in Germany to the maintenance of parks in the US and visits to retirement homes in China. In recent years, more than 700 employees have taken part and demonstrated their social commitment and enthusiasm.
Efficient water management is not only a goal of the global Agenda 2030, it is also part of NORMA Group’s core business. With our NORMA Clean Water project, we want to show what efficient water management can achieve: Improvements in water supply, hygiene and educational opportunities, particularly for girls.
We have been committed to the northeast of Brazil, since 2014. We work with six rural communities to improve the water supply here. Prior to this, we had improved the water supply for more than 18,600 schoolchildren and teachers in India in an initial phase.
In implementing NORMA Clean Water, we work together with the children’s aid organization Plan International. In 2018, NORMA Clean Water was among the finalists for the German CSR Prize in the category "Civil Society Engagement".
In addition to NORMA Clean Water, the NORMA Group locations around the world are also involved in making local donations and participate in sponsoring activities. The donations are put to use in social and ecological projects, to improve health care and in educational projects. Donations to political parties and organizations are expressly prohibited.
