NORMA Group, a global market and technology leader for engineered joining technology, has received the Ford Q1 Award in Mexico. The award is a recognition that the US automobile manufacturer grants to its suppliers who meet its stringent quality standards in production, logistics and services.

NORMA Group manufactures at its Monterrey-based facility in Mexico joining technology such as fluid systems, urea lines and V-band clamps for numerous customers from the passenger and commercial vehicle industry. The company has been present in Mexico since 2008 and has been expanding its operations into South America. In 2011 NORMA Group opened a sales and engineering office in Santo André in Brazil. In September 2013 the company has established a manufacturing site in Atibaia near São Paulo (press release: NORMA Group builds up production in Atibaia in Brazil).
